This little volume, (the result of meditation and experience) is not intended to be an exhaustive treatise on the power of thought, about which much has already been written. It is suggestive rather than explanatory, its goal being to stimulate men and women to the discovery and understanding of the following truth: They themselves are makers of themselves, by virtue of the thoughts which they choose and encourage, that the mind is the master weaver both of the inner garment of character and the outer garment of circumstance, and that, as they may have hitherto woven in ignorance and suffering, they can now weave in enlightenment and happiness.

Este pequeño volumen (resultado de la meditación y la experiencia) no intenta ser un tratado exhaustivo acerca del poder del pensamiento, de lo que ya mucho se ha escrito. Es más bien sugestivo antes que explicativo, su objetivo es estimular a hombres y mujeres al descubrimiento y la comprensión de la siguiente verdad: Ellos son forjadores de sí mismos, en virtud de los pensamientos que escogen y estimulan; que la mente es la fábrica maestra que teje las ropas que visten tanto en lo profundo del carácter como en lo externo de las circunstancias, y que si hasta ahora han tejido ignorancia y sufrimiento pueden tejer iluminación y felicidad.
